Community Run + Walk in Honor of Elaine Stypula Wednesday 7.16 • 6 PM • Nike Detroit

We invite you to join us for a community run and walk in remembrance of our longtime friend and supporter, Elaine Stypula. Losing Elaine is a devastating tragedy and a profound loss for the running community. She was deeply passionate about the sport, building community, making friends, and offering support around the world—all for the love of running.

We must carry her spirit forward as our mission to make an impact continues.

We ask that you wear black if you can, but more than anything, we want your presence and connection for someone so meaningful to us.

Complimentary parking is available at 35 State St., just steps away from Nike Detroit. We’ll meet at 1261 Woodward Ave. and begin gathering as early as 5:45 PM to browse the store. At 6 PM we’ll connect and share a few words before taking off for our run and walk at 6:30 PM.
