BEYOND THE MILES

WHY PROACTIVE HEALTH MATTERS

In Detroit, health outcomes aren’t just numbers—they’re symptoms of systemic neglect. We see it every day.

These are preventable outcomes. And we refuse to treat them like inevitabilities.

City Sweat Club plants the seeds for a healthier Detroit.

We create consistent access to movement, nourishment, and community—because proactive health starts before symptoms show up.

Your membership keeps our Community Run Club free and SWEAT classes within reach. It funds water, local fuel, and the foundation that keeps people moving with intention. It supports a city where wellness isn't reserved for the few—but woven into the lives of many.

We’re not waiting for crisis to call us into action. We’re building habits, creating structure, and inspiring the desire to care—for self, for others, for the future.

This is how we grow a healthier city—from the inside out.

MORE THAN A RUN CLUB

City Sweat Club is a community-first fitness movement—blending expert-led workouts, virtual coaching, and service-driven wellness experiences across the city. We train in the streets, sweat with purpose, and show up for our people.

In partnership with Nike Detroit, we host a weekly Run Club every Wednesday at 6 PM. It’s open to all paces and always free. Whether you're walking your first mile or sprinting to your next personal best, you belong here.

RUN. SWEAT. SERVE. Join the collective of passionate Detroiters committed to health, healing, and human connection.

This is wellness for the city, by The City.

A sustainable wellness ecosystem—rooted in access, driven by purpose, and built for impact.
