January Update: A Season of Focused Care
As we finalize renovations inside the clubhouse, classes will be available to members only during this brief period. This isn’t about limiting access—it’s about creating the space with intention, care, and the presence it deserves before reopening fully to the community.
During this time, we’re keeping the experience private and in the room. Media and public posting will be limited, and we ask that no photos be shared as final adjustments are made. This allows our instructors and members to move without distraction while we complete the finishing touches. Community remains at the center of everything we do.
Community runs will take place indoors at Chandler Park Fieldhouse, beginning Wednesday, January 14 at 6:30 PM.
Open classes will resume February 2 at 6:00 PM.

What began on Woodward Ave continues indoors—on the track, together.
Join us at the Chandler Park Fieldhouse for movement for every body, where accessibility leads the way. Routes range from 1–4 miles, with optional fitness challenges and light circuit stations woven in along the track.

Our community runs continue indoors with accessible movement on the track, welcoming every pace and every body. Choose your distance: 1–4 miles—and opt into light challenges and circuit stations along the way.

HOMECOMING
We’re opening our doors for Homecoming—a private unveiling inside the club to share what we’ve built together.
You helped create the momentum that brought us here by showing up, supporting, and moving with us the whole way through. From pounding the pavement on Woodward Ave to dripping sweat at 611 West Philadelphia—where classes first began, and beyond. We made moves all over the city. Now, it’s time to step into our best move yet.

Many of our seniors—especially those without active or living family members—spend the holiday season alone. This year, we’re changing that. We’ve partnered with Empower Our Families to spend the day delivering joy, connection, and warm meals to seniors in our community.
Much more than just community service, in this moment, we’ll share presence, compassion, and honoring the generation that came before us.

We don’t normally post up on Fridays—but when we do, we call it Night Club. It’s lit! Not the kind with strobe lights and bottle service…the kind where our community shows up, links up, and pours into each other. :)

This is how we do it.
Meet as early as 6:00 PM and take off at 6:30 PM with three route options designed for every stride:
1.5-mile run or walk
3-mile total run
4+ mile extended route
Where you start is not necessarily where you finish—upgrade or regress your steps by choosing one of the three routes on the return from our midway point.

Chandler Park Fieldhouse x Community Moves
Wednesday, November 12 at 6:30 PM, we have teamed up with @detroitparksrec at Chandler Park Fieldhouse for the launch of Community Moves—an indoor fitness initiative designed to make proactive health accessible for every Detroiter.
Too often, parents drop their children off at sports or extracurriculars, but neglect this same care for themselves. Community Moves changes that. Built for the entire family, the program offers: steps around the track for 1–4 miles of heart-healthy movement; fitness stations designed to strengthen the whole body; and inclusive options for every body—all ages welcome, strollers permitted
Because the stats are real in the city:
• 1 in 5 adults in Detroit lives with type 2 diabetes.
• 46% battle high blood pressure.
• Heart disease takes Detroiters’ lives 60% faster than the national average.
More than a midweek meet-up, this is community in motion—with a determination to meet people where they are and introduce them to where they can go.
