Strength in the City: Community Run + Walk

Saturday, September 20 | Belle Isle Athletic Shelter (Vista Drive)

Strength isn’t built alone—it’s built together. On Saturday, September 20, Detroit moves as one. Lace up and join us on Belle Isle as we launch Strength in the City Fest with a Community Run + Walk designed to bring the city to life.

We take off at 9:00 AM sharp from the Belle Isle Athletic Shelter on Vista Drive. Arrive by 8:45 AM to secure parking, stretch in with the crew, and start strong with the pack. Whether you’re running hard or walking with intention, every step fuels the movement.

After the run, the festival continues with mini class sessions led by top instructors from Detroit and beyond, showcasing the best in fitness, wellness, and community.

At 12:10 PM, the spotlight shifts to the STEP OUTSIDE stage where Coach Gab leads SWEAT—a high-energy, full-body workout that turns up the heat and brings the city together. Bring your own mat; additional equipment will be provided.

This is a chance to show what strength looks like when Detroit shows up, sweats together, and rises as one.

Don’t miss it. Strength in the City starts with you.
